I had so much fun making all of the decorations and food. We had a watermelon feast!
Gotta love Hobby Lobby! Probably 85% of my decorations came from their summer clearance section.
Cause eating watermelon on a stick is easier.
These rice krispies were delish! They were koolaide flavored which made it even better.
I am clearly not cut out for decorating cupcakes so to make them a little cuter, I put tiny watermelon umbrellas on them!
My mother-in-law's friend made these adorable cookies for Felicity!
Since it was so hot, the watermelon cake started to droop a little
Felicity had her own slice of watermelon cake!
The dessert table! I loved my cake pop holders. They were light green tins from Hobby Lobby and I painted the tops red and striped the bottoms green and added polka dot black for seeds. Voila, watermelon tins!
Some cousin love!
Nonna walking with Felicity!
If I can make a bib and hat, so can you! Sarah Beth's sewing machine worked wonders, making even the unlikeliest mom a seamstress.
I think she liked it :)
Felicity loves her grandparents and great-grandparents!
All cleaned off.
Last but not least, favors! I loved making these out of baby jars. I wish I had started collecting sooner, we had several babies working on these for me! We cut up twizzlers and sour patch straws inside for more of a sugar rush when you got home.
Felicity, we love you so much and can not believe how the time has escaped us. In a blink of an eye this year has past. I can not wait to see what the Lord has in store for you this next year. Your dad and I pray that you will grow up to be God loving, God fearing, and God serving. Only the Lord knows what your future holds, and we pray that you will continue to blossom into a beautiful child of God. We love you!
